my tv is set to "just scan" when using my ps3 which is fine.

however i use the ps3 as a dvd player and i've noticed that when i do this my tv goes back to "16:9" and just scan i disabled.

however on returning the ps3 to game playing, my tv is still "16:9".

how to i get round this? is there a ps3 setting to change?

it's annoying as i watched a 4:3 movie the other night and it was stretched to 16:9 by default.

i think its a ps3 setting but not sure what
