My scooters belt broke about a week ago round the corner from my house, so i pushed the scooter home and pushed it into the back yard and started it up to show my dad what had happend

my dad ordered the belt of the net , it came today, he fitted it, and now it wont start, does anyone have any ideas?
its only been stood for less a week and it was working spot on before

also now the electric start doesnt sound the same
whats wrong
