Noticed my pit bike is running really down on power in the lower end of the rev range, top end is fine.

Took the carb off and cleaned it all (found some water in there )

Checked the flow of petrol to the carb

Re-gapped the sparkplug and cleaned it up

Think the idle screw might be fooked too but not sure

Anyone got any ideas what else to try?

if its a 2 stroke,check the exhaust for holes as they rely on back pressure from the exhaust to run right. Smile

sorry, forget to mention its a 4 stroke
going to get a new spark moro and clean out the air filter see if that helps
