ive just got a gilera dna 125 it starts fine just has no drive any ideas?

the belt has probably broken, take off the drive cover and have a look..

welcome to bcf, there is a gilera scooter manunal that covers the dna in the manual thread at the top of the workshop page,
i dare say you'll need it

What's the mileage? The variators were prone to failure on earlier models of the 125 engine.

just spoke 2 the previous owner he said it was losing drive abit then all of a sudden it stopped completely. that help?

Well you obviously need a new belt & rollers but I would replace the variator as well. Thumbs Up

just checked the belt and its all good with no perishing, also checked the clutch and thats ok aswell. maybe the variator then?

what does a variator do?

soz new to bikes,lol
