stamped on the gear lever on the c90 last night, was already in 3rd changed intoi neutral, it says you cant do this on a little label on the bike, which i trust, so i must be going senile. (at 20)

anyway, i changed into first like a numpty and the engine propmtly rose to 2 / 3 zillion rpm, whereupon i stamped time on the lever to put it in 3rd again.

it still works

And it didn't lock up your back wheel or anything? Never ridden a C90 before but it sounds like a funny mistake to make. Keep up the good work

I rode a jialing (one of the few fairly decent Chinese bikes) that had a c90 engine. It had a mad gearbox with 3/4 gears where if you changed up from top, you went back to 1st! Doing that once was enough to stop me ever doing it again

well it kind of skidded/ locked up / made the engine revto said zilion rpm, didnt help that i was following a bus bown a dark backroad full of kids

I thought all c90's had rotary gearboxes. Mine did anyway. You need to get a 125cc pitbike engine and shove that in. Then it will be fun.

Our moped racer is like that. You can hear three blokes, who rode to the race on large 5 or 6 gear normally geared bikes, all shouting, 'first, second, third, second' etc out loud as they circle the track.
