Some switch clusters have a small "stud" (either moulded into the plastic or a metal one pressed into a hole) that fits into a hole in the handlebars to stop them rotating.
The hole is rarely in exactly the same place on two different models. Whenever I've done this in the past, I've removed the stud by either pulling it out or clipping it off then padded out the diameter of the handlebar by wrapping PVC tape round it. The switch grips the PVC tape tightly enough to prevent it rotating.
Other considerations are if the wires are long enough to reach the loom and that the connector block is almost certainly not interchangeable so you'll have to chop about the wiring a bit and fit different connectors. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. Just a little tip,
whenever I take the switch gear off for any reason, before I replace it, I put a blob of grease inside the switches to prevent corrosion and problems with rain getting into them ____________________ It`s all powerfull white mans magic

Well, that was a waste of time! After carefully checking the width of the bars and on the switch, I still manage to buy one too small!
So, I'm looking again, can anyone recommend another bike's that will definitely fit with the choke lever as well?
The only Hyosung version I can find is here: Switch Link
But I don't want to buy one of those in case its crap like the two I already own!
Incidentally, it would be nice to have a push to cancel indicator but its not that important.
The handlebar to fit onto is 1" and can be seen here: Bar Link |

Bodge successfully completed!
Filed the plastic so it fits - need to put something around the edge to seal it completely, I was thinking of silicone.
I bought some new connectors as the unit came with bullets, but the only ones I could get that were small enough didn't have a hook on the back to catch in the plastic block. So I filed off half a matchstick for each wire to jam them in and wrapped the block to the wires with insulation tape - all works fine, and I will feel a lot better now, not having to use hand signals!
Cheers for all the help!
