So your Vtec isn't kicking in yo?

(sorry, I had to! )
I suspect it is a fault with the Vtec mechanism itself. Do you know if the ECU performs a self test on the Vtec before it will start? It could be the mechanism is physically jammed, and the self test can't initiate when you switch the ignition on.
Do you know how the Vtec works on this particular bike? I assume its different from the VFR800 Vtec...? ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |
