It would be much cheaper just to buy a pair of clip ons from a breakers from a bike with the same diameter forks.

In answer to your question though, what's to ask. If they fit, they fit, and if you're willing to spend £132, then there isn't much else to know.

Looks useful if you're going to be regularly taking them off for some reason.
Also this 'race' style are useful as you should be able to get replacement bars cheaply (just an ally tube basically) if you're expecting to crash a lot.

Otherwise, I'd find some cheaper ones the right size that fit.

Yes, you do have to take the top yolk off. Very easy to do; unbolt the top-yolk bolt and clamp bolts, then pull off; often a bit tight so a wooden drift underneath and a few taps from a club hammer can help.

How do you line the yokes up again correctly though? Do they leave a mark on the forks where they were?

Here's a Firestorm where the clip ons are attached to the forks above the top yoke. The same applies to the VFR750/800 models and Blackbird. I'm not sure about other brands.

Good point, plenty of bikes do it that way. Though, not so likely to work on a bike with wide bars as stock!

There is no space on top just the bolt thingy is there.

So to remove the top yoke I just undo those two bolts? I'll try and get a pic of my current set if it helps

It looks to me you have a pinch bolt around the yolk stem too. My KTM has one there, but also has a bolt that screws into the stem at the top.

I'm not sure how that thing on yours works, but I'd expect it's some kind of bolt/nut.
