So what exactly are you after? Just a k&n that will fit directly on to your carb (I'm guessing here?)

If so cant you just measure the intake and then email k&n to ask what they have to fit?

Are you sure it is restricted in the airbox?!

As surely the airbox is standard for all and as such there would be no way to without getting rid of it?

There again I could be totally missing something!

IVE BEEN TOLD BY A DEALER THERE IS SOME SORT OF RESTRICTION IN THE AIR BOX. K&N FILTERS SUPLY FILTERS THAT GIVE A NON-RESTRICTED AIR FLOW.

But don't forget if you manage to get a K&N you will need the bike rejetting again. A K7N will flow a hell of a lot more air than the standard, and the last thing you wantt o do is lean the mixture out too much!

SAT AT ABOUT 110MPH AND I DIDNT EVEN KNOW I WAS DOING IT

Fast enought for me at the moment only because I can't afford the next bike I'd like so I try not to think about it. Laughing
