About to leave to ride home from uni (exeter) to surrey. Met office warns heavy snowfall expected (on top of the snow already down).

I am a little worried.

Now you just need to give the bike a good wash to get rid of all the salt!! Very Happy

I think as long as you can stick to main/well trodden roads, there is little chance of snow being a problem in the sarf' Thumbs Up

Nah, not yet. Me and Marie live in a side street at the top of a hill...I've been taking great pleasure laughing at (and occasionally pushing) those foolish people who look at the sheet ice and think that their standard family hatch back will be able to cope with the conditions without an issue Rolling Eyes

And the pavements are worse than the roads! I'm sure it's ok in town now, but the walk to the pub last night was interesting. The journey back moreso Mr. Green
