My mrs has just ordered me some heated gloves called: STORMSHIELD Heated Motorcycle Gloves (https://www.exo2.co.uk/exo2.html).

Just wondering if anyone else has got these gloves and knows whether they're any good?

I've looked at heated gloves and many have sung their praise. My issue with them are what if you come off? will they be as good as the gloves I normally use?
I would be glad of any feed back from their use. Thumbs Up

Thread-Hijack - cheap battery heated gloves:

Went into Maplins to try on their £14.99 heated gloves https://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=264171#features

Yes, they were always going to be crap, at that price and from Maplins... but these were just awful, uncomfortable nylon, zero waterproofing, and battery pack that dug into your wrist. I brought some triple A's to try them out and the heat was ok but centred only on the back and palm of hands, nothing out to the fingers.

I'm thinking about these Warmawears - waterproof, finger heating and external on-off switch with led indicator: https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Warmawear-Deluxe-Battery-Powered-Heated-Gloves-Ski-Bike_W0QQitemZ330387904723QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMen_s_Accessories_UK?hash=item4ceca758d3#ht_1530wt_898

Anyone tried these? I know neither are bike gloves, but I can't afford the £100+ proper ones and I figure that I'd gamble on not having an off for a few weeks whilst its ridiculously cold...

My Oxford Bone-Dry + cotton inner gloves were pretty effective before the temp took a nosedive Rain

not looking forward to getting to work tomorrow...

no mate not tried any heated gloves whatsoever... when these ridiculousy expensive gloves turn up ill write a review on them. Maplin are doing heated vests at the moment too which work pretty well for 20quid.

Yeah I looked at their heated waistcoat, it was on display too, but the heating elements seemed to be just on the front and low down. Wasn't too sure as there were wires going further up, so may have been better than I thought, but in the end, I was so disgusted by the gloves I just left and went hunting for more layers in TK Maxx Thumbs Up

yeah, definitely review those stormshields, I'll bet they'll be smoking hot! Cool

Heated grips and muffs are a bit pricey and tricky to find/fit on a scooter - I did find some Tucano Urbano muffs that were designed for my scoot at a Philip Youles in Manchester but I'm too tight to pay £40 for something I'll only use a few weeks in a year Shifty

Stay warm guys!

Nick
