My first bike ,all I can remember is that the ceramic washer on the water pump could be damaged and cause the engine to overheat.

last year I rode one down a green lane for 5 mins and it was surprisingly alright.

A lot were run by riding schools partly because it was hard to lock up the rear on the emergency stop.

A braided front line was a great improvement.

Is yours black and yellow or Flymo orange?

As far as i know there is no website's for the mtx125.

In terms of mods you could always look at changing the stock exhust system. On my mtx i had a "Big one" end can and even looked at getting the whole system which in the end i never. Made a little difference in power but the bike had been de-restricted in the past and was quite punchy ( for a 125 2t )

I know DEP did a silencer for the MTX125, but not 100% sure if they still do.

If you have any questions just post in the workshop as i know there a few people that have experance with MTX125's

Any pictures ?? Thumbs Up

If you have a trawl through the list of manuals at the start of this section, you should find a link to the wsm.
(megaupload, iirc)
