You know the kind of car, all muscle and money draped in just legal totty in tight lycra, you know you are never going to get a go behind the wheel but it is nice to look? Well I get to drive this for the day on the 27th, totty not included but as it has no heating and I want the lid down they might get a tad cold.

They are not the best looking girls are they, better than some of the munters on the Carol Nash stand at the NEC though.
My mate is dead chuffed that I am doing all the driving as he can now have a drink! Very Happy

I'm pleased you lot think they're mingers, too.
Nice car, but if I won the lottery (unlikely, I never buy a ticket), I'd be more likely to buy a one of them extremely snazzy Bentley sports coupe thingies.

Like the Morgan's eh Wali? I recommend you come down to Malvern and tour the factory.
Done it myself, it's pretty cool to see them being built.. not to mention that they're individually built to customer specification, didn't see two cars the same in there.
I remember as we were looking around in the finishing room I was just admiring all the old school win and wandering how I'd pimp my Morgan if I ever had the spare cash. Very Happy

It's also nice to see some of the older construction methods they use, bodywork crafted from sheet aluminium on sight, expertly and masterfully molded and shaped with wait for it... A hammer, yes I kid you not, Laughing being in the wood workshops gave me a semi, the lovely smell and everything from frames to trim being made in there...
The place is like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory for motoring/ engineering enthusiasts.
Plus you could stop by for a cuppa. Mr. Green Thumbs Up

My ideal car is a Bugatti type 35 but I will never be able to buy one unless I get a couple of million on the lottery. One day I will buy a Morgan though.
Next time I am in Malvern I will give you a call.

How did you find the Morgan anyway?
Comfort, build, ride, performance etc?
Always been curious, only ever sat in one once that I can remember.

If you look at it there is a huge bash plate under the engine, this is because she gets trialled a lot and takes a hammering. The suspension has been ramped up so much she rattles your teeth over speed bumps and the steering is heavy but positive. No comfort, you are out in the weather the seats are hard. The motor is not over-fast but once we get the supercharger fitted she will be better.

However.... all of the above is irrelevant, she is a Morgan and Morgans are made in heaven.

At least that way they'd be a visual indication they were cold, either that or they'd be 'excited'.

Colleague at work had a weekend away (may have been mid-week) where he hired a Morgan from the factory. He'd been tempted for years. Came back a little disappointed. It was not what he expected (or it hadn't lived up tohis expectations).

They are all munters. Simple as.

The one on the left is totally out of proportion. She has a three foot long neck fercreissakes.
