parts: where's best?

thinking if the alternator belt's gone on the h1, or if the alt itself's gone ill still need a new belt but looked online and can't find one anywhere. where's best to get one?

That is not a common part really.

If you have checked wemoto and ebay then go to the manufacturer.

Think it is 590111054, and is £20.36 (plus vat I think, that is the H1 part number which I assume is the same). Probably best just to get it from your local Kawasaki dealer.

cheers guys. gonna check the rectifier first, then the belt after as it's harder to get at. fingers crossed. can you change a belt easily? sounds harder according to haynes.

I had to change the belt twice on my H2. You have to take the carbs off to get to it. Its a pain in the arse, but not too difficult. I went to a kawasaki dealer and they ordered the belt in for me as, like you, I couldnt find any on the internet.

I can change the alternator belt with my eyes closed now so give me a PM if you need any help mate.
