How hard is it to chop up and reform a seat? How would I go about doing this?

I wanna cut up the RXS seat to make it a solo seater, and add a rear rack where the pillion seat would be. Overall effect is to make a RXS100 Cargo (yes like the honda)

Wouldn't be easy, I don't think, in view of where the RXS seat bolts on. It would look odd too Laughing

The seat is pretty flat as it is. Can't you just use a cargo net and bungee cords? I've managed to transport an amazing amount of things before on my back seat by doing so.
