Spotted my bike parked by the side of the road back in July in a short period where I had no tax.

Fine is upto 2.5k they say, what is it likely to be?

Thanks

i was got for no tax on the ktm 400. cost me £43 for 3 months.

i would expect it to be a lot less than that on whatever shitty 125 you're pottering around on.

Thank god for that. The letter says upto 2.5k. Apparently it wasn't taxed from before I even got the vehicle but it's only £15 a year.

Hopefully it will be a low figure like you guys had. I taxed it a while ago but it was spotted before I did tax it.

Just a thought, why would the letter say upto 2.5k if they are giving out £60 fines not big ones?

Is there a possibility of point?

The letter says up to £2.5k to try and scare people into paying up quickly.

£2.5k must be for the worst case scenario, but I've no idea how they'd reach that as a total.
