hi, i have a new k9 650bandit and i cant afford a new exhaust yet...skint now Smile and althought the standard silenced exhaust is ok, i was wondering if it was possible to take out the baffle to give it abit of noise??

any ideas?

if i did take it out does it effect the engine etc??

If you can take the original apart you might be able to cut parts of the baffles away, but to be honest, you'll break something doing it. I took a mates' SV can off to fit an akra, and the original was a solid unit, no way in without wrecking it.

IMHO you're much, much better off looking for a bargain on ebay. You won't gain much performance with a can, but you'll more than likely half the weight of the bike!
