Okay sorry to disappoint but this is only about my textile jacket! Laughing

It was once a bright yellow bike jacket making me easily visible, however over time it's now become a sad yellowish grey and certainly a lot less visible. I was thinking of just using my Muc Off spray stuff that I normally use for removing dirt and grime from my bike and then once the jacket has dried, putting a layer or 2 of waterproofing spray all over it. The Muc Off stuff won't damage it will it?

Any other ideas apart from the obvious fairy liquid cleaning products?

i used oridinary washing powder on mine in the wash on cool, was still dirty so then rubbed vanish into it and washed it on cool was still dirty but better so then used techwash and gave up as it was about as clean as it was going to get, the spray you use afterwards is a water repellancy agent not a waterproofer, so it makes the rain run off instead of soak in

Therefore making the jacket waterproof surely!? Confused

The washing machine idea isn't such a bad one... like with yours though I can't imagine washing powder being able to get rid of much of the dirt. Thumbs Up
