what you peoples think about this?

worth a shout? has quite a few miles on it and doesn't run but apparently running a while ago and i think i could make it run again.
i've emailed the seller about things like v5, known problems, MOT etc etc and waiting to hear back

If everything checks out I'd go for it, the amount of miles is barely run in for an engine like that. Mine had 36k on it and went fine.

You can pick them up for ?1200 less though with less miles so is it really worth the hassle for a few hundred quid?

i dont have a lot of money at the moment (student) so cheap things are all the better. i have time to fix stuff as well (students don't do any work for 50 weeks of the year. work the 2 week in which we have exams.) so fixing it and getting it running again shouldn't be much of a problem.

If it's such a simply fix, why hasn't he done it and sold it for more money. After all, a carb clean and fresh fuel even at a dealers isn't going to be that much.

Also lack of V5 is worrying.

I'd avoid.
