elephant.co.uk - Awful Sales Dept.

[Ingah]

Just wanted to let everyone know that trying to get a quote from this company tonight was like pulling teeth. So i'd recommend you save your time and simply don't bother :thumb:

Just waited ~30 mins in a queue (at 9pm at night, not exactly peak hours) only to speak to a man that really really couldn't be bothered to run through a quote with me and preferred to talk to me like i'm stupid, especially for wanting to confirm a price comparison website quote over the phone (i explained the situation and he pretty much said: "do you want to take that online quote now?" - "no, i just wanted to go through it with you so you can confirm the price as they often seem to change when i actually ring up a company - i'm shopping around" - *silence*... "the prices online are pretty accurate" "well, other companies have changed their price when it came down to it so i just wanted to confirm the quote" *silence*... "are you looking to take out your insurance today" (read: i can't be bothered unless this is a dead cert sale). It went swiftly very much downhill and he played stupid until after a good amount of to-ing and fro-ing trying to get him to start asking my details and get the hell on with it i lost my patience and told him i'd not bother his company again as he's obviously got something more important to do.

Elephant.co.uk sales - FAIL.
