My mum passed her bike test today. Just posting here to let all of you know that anyone can do it, as my Mum has just proved. So anyone that is panicking, just get it done.
She has been riding a scoot for the last 2 years and decided to take her DAS before her CBT ran out and she passed first time, so she can now ride her GPZ500.
\o/ for Mam. Very Happy

Yeah DON'T speed or do any rash manouvers. Observation is the key. Look over your shoulder before any manouvre. I'm sure the instructor will tell you all this.

Oh, and don't do what I did on my test many years ago and shoot off along the wrong exit of a round-a-bout while the examiner goes another, then ride around town for 10 mins looking for him Embarassed

And don't do this either. You'll inevitably crash then your license isn't worth s**t.

Mikey means drag racing on a proper drag strip such as Elvington or Santa Pod....pretty unlikely to crash going in a straight line Smile (still possible of course though).

Thanks to everybody for their congratulations!!
Thanks Stew and Michelle for the encouragement!!
It's great to get out on my GPZ500s!!
However I think it will be a while before I start training to get my knee down! (Though contra to rumours I don't have arthritis I'm not that old!!!!)
Take care.
Cheers
