beaten up bike

Hi!

just bought a 2002 honda cg125 and im very happy with it for the amount of money i paid for it, however it is a little rusty and abit faded and scratched. just wondered if theres any hints to get it looking a little bit newer.

and also i know there is not much that can be done without sending it to a shop but there is a small dent in the petrol tank, any suggestions?

Unless you have the tools to do it yourself the tank will have to be done by a garage.

I have a dent in my CBR, I don't trust myself enough to even try doing it.

Just going to buy a new tank maybe. Depends, if I buy a new tank it will be easier to sell but take more hassle.

Ive got 2 fairly large dents in my tank.

One where i punched the tank in fustration as some woman cutting me up at a roundabout when i was trying to make it home after my clutch cable snapped. The second was me trying to hit the spanner that was on a nut of the gpz, swang my arm back to get a swing and boom! Elbow in the tank.

I was going to give these guys a call when i have some money.

yer thought as much. i have a friend that is pretty good at panel beating but i dont think he has the experience to do a gas tank and as i only paid £200 for the bike i dont think its worth payin for it to be fixed profesionaly.

Pritty sure pannel beating is done from the back. Can't get inside the tank unless you cut into it. Just ££££
