bike test on weekends?

Hi guys i passed my theory test over the christmas period ready for doing my DAS this month.

I have just booked up my MOD 1 over a saturday and test on the sunday however when i went to book my MOD 2 i was told i can only take the test on a weekday. Just wondered if this was the case everywhere as i have the swindon and oxford test centres close to me. Bit of a pain as i work 5 days a week with very little chance to get time off but hoping to get an afternoon off to go do it.

If this is the case anyone know why they have done it so you can only take a test on a weekday

I found exactly the same in West Dorset. Just had to take time off work to do it - (bummer )

Same here Im afraid, my module one was on a VOSA site and so was only available at weekends.
But for the module two there are only a couple of people trained to do motorbike tests in Cornwall apparently and so they only do the test days when there is enough to warrant a full bike testing day- seemed to be once a week down here

I got told the same thing when I called up about taking my test in Kent, seems to be a standard thing.
