Hi,

just wanted to get some words of advice. Recently my Bandit has been doing what I can only describe as a kind of burbling at low revs - almost like it's trying to blow bubbles.... This is not how it normaly sounds.

It's fine when I give it some beans but idling sounds strange and a little laggy and under powered, and even though I feel like it's going to cut out, it doesn't quite do it.

What could be causing this ? - it's definitely a change from the norm, and tends to happen more in the morning than later in the day.

Not madly concerned as the bike is running fine otherwise, but I am very curious and want to get any potential nastiness looked at before it gets worse.

Cheers for any help,

Si

Good bet that you have a tiny leak in your exhaust somewhere, and most likely where the exhaust meets the engine - when it heats up it closes the gap. Can you hear a mechanical ticking noise when it's cold that also goes away?
