For sale is a Rieju RS2 125 Matrix with only 2800 miles, 2007 model.

The bike is located in Taunton, Somerset.

4 months tax and MOT runs out in Feb, will pass another no probs.

It is the fully faired Matrix version which is more expensive than the cheaper, more basic naked version.

It uses a bulletproof 4 stroke Yamaha engine. 36mm Forks from Paoli. A dual caliper 280mm front brake and 220mm single caliper rear brake

It weighs only 109kg dry so it's very light and easy to handle.


Still a full size bike but with a nice low seat height so both feet easily touch the ground.

Handles great, and the brakes are very effective.

It is fitted with 100/80-17 and 130/70-17 Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. They have probably 90% tread left.

The engine idles nice and pulls smoothly, red line is at 10k and it will rev to that mark if you ask it to. All the gears slot in nicely with a good feel, and there is never any problem finding neutral.

The exhaust system is from Zorstek which sound very nice with out being too loud or ostentatious.
It has an LED rear light which means they'll never blow a bulb and they look great.

I have cleaned and relubricated the chain and sprockets, which are like new, and have properly adjusted everything. The brake pads have lots of life left in them and none of the consumables will need replacing anytime soon. The fork seals have no leaks.

Battery is good and it will fire up everytime on the electric start button. It also has a very handy handlebar mounted choke with is a nice change to the hard to get to underseat choke on most bikes.

The lights, dim and full beam, the indicators, rear light, brake light, clocks, rev counter, dash warning lights all work.
It will pass an MOT no problem if you want to give it another.

It also has a very nice low petrol light (which works!) instead of the horrid fuel tap which can leave you groping below the seat in the middle of the motorway whilst the bike coughs and splutters.

The bike has not been stood, which is a big plus if you know what can happen to a bike if it is left outside and neglected. It has been kept inside and recieves regular maintenance.

Just had an oil change (Yes, it has actually! I'm not just putting this in the advert to make it sound good.

The only things wrong with it are very small cosmetic defects, the right hand side indicator lens is missing and there are some cracks around some of the headlight cowl fairing screws, these are only visible if you bend down and look for them, not if you are standing and looking at the bike. There are also a couple of fairing screws missing. These are standard screws, not anything you'd need to get machined specially.

The downpipe has a little surface rust on it. But it's well protected from the elements by the fairing. So shouldn't ever develop into a problem.
