Nope, it's a 400. And you know those wheelies on the CBR250? You've guessed it - it was our resident wheelie nutter Zim. Smile

Zim is truly a mad man, I've not quite got the guts to completely dump teh clutch but if i find some quiet roads next week i might try letting clutch out fast at revs etc and dipping it to see what it feels like, good guide that is, cheers zim.

All is explained in the guide as you have seen. Very Happy

Now, a quick question for you.... Why the hell is your bike still restricted? Did you buy it an hour ago or something? Wink Mr. Green

it's still restricted cos i am the world's most unlucky person so knowing my luck I'll get caught for it an hour after removing them Laughing

just going to stick out the 2 years and have some fun ... only got just over a year to go now anyway. Cool

How are you gonna get caught for something they can't see? You do know the police don't have X-Ray goggles, yet anyway. Very Happy

I suggest you come for a casual ride to London tomorrow, I'm sure the dodgy fitting on those restrictors may work loose on the route somewhere? Mr. Green

i wish i could go for a casual ride, but i crashed my bike last monday and wont be able to pick up the new bodywork, wheels and headlights etc etc until next saturday afternoon Evil or Very Mad

i think they'd realise it were de-restricted if i got done for 135mph Wink cos if i'd be inclided to use its full power on an empty road hehehe

Well, when I'm not on a ban I usually ride a VTR1000 at 170mph everywhere, guess what? It's supposed to be restricted. Wink

Off the top of my head I think every single person on this forum has skipped the 33bhp law, and out of them a grand total of 0 have been caught for it. Mr. Green

I don't think the odds are any higher for you. Wink Very Happy

ya reckon they do?

coool...

guess I won't find out, cos I've really got my heart set on this R6, wheelies off the throttle Wink

I rode an XJR1300SP, was only riding up and down this lay-by in 1st and 2nd done about 50mph max, but the front wheel felt sooooooo easy to lift, obviously because of all that power. But i'd feel so confident trying a wheely on one of them as all ya gotta do is twist the throttle and keep twisting it till' the front lifts Twisted Evil

Your twin-turbo hairdryer doesn't do 170mph. Razz Wink

It'll run out of fuel before the speedo needle gets that far anyway. Very Happy

Just ride your bike near me and the restrictors may just fall out, that seems to happen generally. Very Happy

Indicates 170... Good enough for me Very Happy

Well, it doesn't actually indicate anything now... Silly clock assemblies, who needs them. Wink Very Happy

Remove petrol tank, remove airbox, remove carbs, remove restrictors. Replace carbs, replace airbox, replace petrol tank. 20 minute job tops. Very Happy
