hi, just wondering about the oil light on a dt125, if it stays on all the time does that mean its low or is it when the light goes out it is low? ive been told differnet things by different people!

When the light comes on, it want oil!

Best bet is always to have a look every weekend really, as wires can come unplugged, sensors can go wrong etc etc.

come on in neutral to show the bulb working

in gear it will come on when its low !!! or just look at the damb contain its like right there not difficult

thanks for the replys.

it was in neutral when the light was on, so i guess if its in gear and the light is still on it wants oil?? if it goes out when in gear everythings fine?

sorry, it isnt my bike and i dont know much about engines/bikes!
