hi all im thinking of swapping a zx9r 53 plate for a sv1000 03 model with power commander what do u guys think is it a gd idea

depends on what you want, the zx9 is way faster, and arguably better looking,

the 9 have more power and the same torque just further up the rev range,

saying that, i quite like the naked version, and with a few mods they are a comfy and reliable bike,

so what is it?? comfort or speed??

Keep the ZX9R, SV's are built to a budget. Not bad but not brilliant.

Unless you want it as a track bike, I probably would Smile

The V twin would be more fun legal speeds and it's hardly without power when you want to cane it.

Having said that, I'd prefer a TLR/SP/VTR/APE
