I,ve used harris rear sets on two 954 fireblades before and really liked the abilty to lower and move back the pegs which made the riding postion alot better.

Gilles = good
Arrow = reasonable
Fake Yoshumuras of eGhay = Rolling Eyes

Gilles have always been pretty good, well designed, loads of adjustability and spare parts are easy to get hold of if you bin it but don't want to replace the entre rearset.

Just avoid the yoshi ones of ebay, there not very adjustable, theyre made of cheese and don't weather well.

Thumbs Up

Hi

Have Harris ones on my Bandit. Decent amount of adjustment (I wanted the pegs as high and cramped as possible to reduce frontal area a tiny amount for top speed runs), and they can supply spares. Solidly made and the finish is lasting well (I bought them 2nd hand).

Down side for road use is that the brake light switch setup is a bit of a bodge (works well enough though).

All the best

Keith

Don't crash well, and spares are pretty pricey IIRC.

Have Arata on the R6, very good kit. SES are also very good, as are Harris. Thumbs Up

Arata? how do you get on with them? I found that for the price, they were very very under designed and had virually no option to fine tune, do they still have only 4 positions to chose?

+1 for gilles and Harris

Used both and crashed both. The Gilles held up better though. Just a scuffed peg while the harris snapped.

A mate of mine has IRC ones on his SP2 he rates them highly, https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Racing-Rear-Set-Honda-VTR-1000-SP1-SP2_W0QQitemZ250572657140QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item3a574b51f4

The harris ones on there should cover a decent adjustment range already, you'll probably have some fun budging those bolts though. If theres a problem with them give harris a bell, they are decent for parts. Just make sure they put the right bit in the box this time Thumbs Up Laughing

Pretty grippy pegs, the adjustment is 4 rows of 4 holes IIRC. Plenty of adjustment, although they just stay on the highest setting that doesn't cut the circulation off on the race bike. Wink

Harris ones are fine on my SP1. They withstood a crash and a few people on eBay sell replacement pegs which are half the price of the original ones.

Wife got a set of GBMoto rearsets for her B1h, quite impressed for the price (?150 new) and they've also taken a few drops without any problems. Not sure if they sell them for the SP1 or not.

my bike came with a set of "SATO" rearsets, loads of adjustment and when i put the bike sliding through a chicane 20-30 yards, footpeg wore down (obviously) and the main plate bent but i straightened it out by pounding it with 2x 4 Thumbs Up

Having said that, I have a second B1 with standard rearsets and didn't feel alot of difference on the track.. ie i wasn't scraping them off the ground so wouldn't put them on the top of list of must have 'mods'
