has anyone got one?
If so what is it like for serious touring.
What sort od distances, sppeds can you do and hold.
Looking at a change of bike shortly. I do 2 week tours once a year and also love fun days out. Dont usually use it for town and commuting.

Got one, the 1050 version.

Distance... how long've you got? Last long ride was about 10 hours (Inverness to Bracknell, via twisties and Jodrell Bank) and I wasn't sore or tired or anything when I got in. 400 miles up to Perth and I thought about going for a ride when I arrived, that's how 'fresh' I felt.

Tank range is good, 200 miles easy, 250 if you apply yourself. It'll do whatever speed you want to sit at, and sit at it all day long.

Might be selling mine soon if you're looking for a newish second hand one.
