Was thinking it would be cool if an option could be added to the 'send mail notification' section so that you could opt out of recieving mails on topics you watch, while still getting a notification for pm's Thumbs Up

You can do this by going to your profile and changing "Always notify me of replies" to no.

That's what I thought - but if you are watching something (so it shows on your watch list) they you still get a mail notification even if the option is set to 'do not send email on the 'Always notify .. ' option. I think that one means you recieve emails every time someone posts in a thread you once posted in.
