All the disadvantages of a car and all the disadvantages of a bike.

They're good fun off-road though.

one of those raptors nearly killed me.
(i was riding it) and it spat me off, far too much power for off road riding Very Happy
flat track or grass track would be good on one though

They don't look cool on the road though. Ever. It looks like you don't have a bike licence. Laughing

I imagine it's not worth a toss as a commuter (if that's what the op meant by "winter toy").

Either get a trike and pose properly or buy a car. Laughing

There's four lads who have road quads in my brothers town. They make a right racket as they're blasting round... Looks good fun though.

One of those four has fitted a different engine to his. I'm not sure what it is 'cos I've not seen it close up but it sounds like a middleweight twin... Goes like stink!

I must agree with a few of you here, you do realise it is alot harder to filter traffic on these so they do have there disadvantages

but when theres a few of you out round town its a right giggle.

Nice quad, what do you use it for? do you do much off road riding with it?
I borrowed a frieds suzuki 400 quad, and after about an hour, i'd been flipped of it, but both me and the quad were fine. this was off road riding.
I'd stick to flat ground in future lmao!

Have fun with it
