GSXR400 GK76a restrictor

Does anyone know the dimensions for the restrictor washers for the GSXR400 GK76? Also if the holes are offset to top or central? Thanks in advance for anyone that can offer some assistance!

i wouldnt fit them, very rarely do you actually get it running right,
and no proof is required by any insurance company,
if you are dead set about restricting your bike,
i would restrict the throttle cable on how far it can open the carbs,
thats just as effective as strangling your bike with some washers

could probably work it out yourself?

say a bike has 66bhp on 40mm carbs.

restricting the inlets to 20mm would make it 33bhp?
or close enough anyway...

then get a dyno printout and send it to your insurers. sure, you dont legally need a certificate, but insurers are twats.

hmmmnz, its not for my bike, i had mine fitted all the way through my restricted period, its better than getting your bike crushed by the police then on top of that getting dry raped by the insurance companies! lol, cheers for that matt, i understand what you are saying in theorey but didnt know if it worked like that in practice, i may try fitting some stops on the slides in the carbs if i can so you can still give it full throttle but the slide only opens halfway...

Halving the diameter of the hole would likely cut the power down to 1/3.

Halving the area of the circle (the hole in the middle) would give roughly half the airflow, an potentially half the power.

It's still a rather shakey theory though.
