i im new to motorbikes and have just got a 2005 derbi senda which isnt restricted and cant find anywhere that tells you how to restrict it any ideas PLEASSSSSSSSS? Neutral

i want it to be derestricted but my mum has both keys and wont give unless restricted and i tried googling it but no joy. Crying or Very sad

How does she know its derestricted.

Probably need the original exhaust, original carb jets, might even have a 70cc kit on it, so would need the 50cc kit.
Maybe an air filter if they also changed that.

You are aware you could probably hotwire it... many chavs seem to possess the knowledge Wink

Changing the new lock set is probably easier than restricting it.

Sit with the bike for a bit take a few bits off. Then put them back on. And say its done.

she got my dad to go out on it today and all we know is it goes above 50 cus thats where the speedo tops out every thing looks original to me :S any easy restriction to do like for throttle stop?

I did some work on a derbi sc125 and the restriction was basically a fuse that you put into the wiring under the seat. Add that and the bike is derestricted. You might have something similar. Have a look.
