Evening all... just got back from a 370 mile / ?50 in fuel round trip to see a TM250, seller was a liar... bike had no mot when i got there, was filthy (said it was clean) so couldnt really see the condition of the cosmetics. Biggest potential bullshit though was that he said the bike didnt have an idle screw to adjust the tick over. Basically it stalled whenever and almost as soon as the revs were dropped. Said this was normal... well how the feck do you use the front brake and rev at the same time? Ok engine braking would help but surely ALL bikes should idle? Also the lights brightness seemed to be really effected by the amount of revs applied.... understandable to a degree but this was VERY noticeable.

Anyone corroborate/debunk his claims on the idle? Normal for lights to change that much with the revs?
