Right, I have an RXS that hasn't been used in 3 years sitting in my Garden. It has been under a cover for a year and a half and I have no Idea what it looks like now.
I don't want to sell it and I'm not that bothered about riding it! I just fancy a project and I can do this one on the cheap.
Initally I ordered a spark plug, air filter, battery and oil. Then I remembered it needs new tyres and head stock bearings.
Looks like this just got more expenive
I have a nose cone I never got round to fitting I plan to use, and I'm thinking about stripping it to the frame and maybe getting the frame swingarm and fork legs powder coated black.
From what I rememebered the chrome on the wheels is still good (though this might have changed) but the spokes where manky I plan to mask of the chrom and spray the hubs/spokes black.
I also plan on painting it, I was going to go for a Yellow yamaha speed block design, I'm going from a Retro Cafe Racer look.
I'm gonna need Lots of encouragement and karma because I can see myself being lazy with this.
Hopefully the engine will be running mid week then I'll start the strip down. ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.

Fair point but my wheel rims and engine will be silver, also my bodywork will be brighter, I think it will make a difference. ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.
