CBT isn't a test, it's just training. Why would you be failed for using your BRAKES to STOP? Rolling Eyes

As I said, if you uise it excessivly and make it skid you will fail. And you are meant to use both brakes anyway so use it in your test!

Wasn't referring to your post Stephen, just incase. DJM asked if you could be failed for just using your rear brake, as opposed to locking it up. Personally, I had trouble not locking it on mine so on my test I chose not to use it and passed. Smile Karma

All you have to do is apply the slightest bit of pressure to the back brake, to show thet you understand how the emergency stop is best performed. I didn't use the rear brake at all, just made it look like it.
