Crazy man decides that if you can't wait for your £9000 prize immediately, you must consume any chance of ever seeing it. Maybe he REALLY wanted to buy some tacky jewellery and perfumes?

My mum showed me the story, and my brother added the insight "He might be loaded already."
Laughing Yeah, he was flying RyanAir business class. Rolling Eyes

You should see how disgustingly people spend their money in Lam Kwai Fong a small street in Hong Kong, beers cost 10 times as much and people go there purely to show off their wealth and make others feel little. I was pretty shocked at the way a bloke bought a beer which cost $112HK he handed over a $1000 note and told them to keep the change.

You think that's bad, how about the chap with multiple convictions for sexual-assault and rape who won over seven million while on home-leave a few years ago. Neutral

Karma my arse.

Though the woman he raped later got a £150,000 pay-out from him in a legal judgement.

You could say that was karma, have studied that case in my law classes and if he hadn't have won the money the woman would have got nothing because he couldn't afford to pay. 'Luckily' he won the money so she could go back to court and claim again and got the compensation she deserved, think of the difference that money made to her life! Although yes it does seem stupidly unfair that he got to keep the majority of the money.

I wouldn't mind being raped for £150,000.

It wouldn't be rape, you'd be an expensive batty boy.
