Integrated Tail Lights

Looking for an LED tail light and came across this one with integrated indis but I'm not sure on the safety side of it. I mean at night and close up it should be pretty obvious but on a sunny day or from a distance it might be hard to tell. What do you guys think? Also what are the legalities of these things?

Hi

Fairly sure they are illegal (for a start on the min spacing of indicators), but don't think there is anything in the MOT rules against them.

I've been behind similar ones and at some points it wasn't entirely obvious when the rider was indicating.

They're illegal because the indicators are too close together, it may also fail on the issue of the light from the indicators/brake interfering with eachother because they're overlapping.

Someone I know has one of these on the back of his R1 and if he has his lights on then I can barely see him indicating if he is braking I cannot see the indicators at all, I wouldn't buy one. It's not just legalities, if you are stopped to turn right and nobody behind can see your indicator then they may try and go past you and it won't be their fault when they splatter you, plenty of other situations that can arise too.

I run no indicators anyway.

I just ride fast enough, so there is rarely anybody behind me anyway.
