The strangest thing has happened... was pegging it down the A406, flying through the gears, was in 3rd gear, 11,00 revs, changed up into 4th and as ive tried to open up the throttle, it felt stuck, like something was blocking it or jarring it. It would not move, so i let go of it and gave it another go and it was fine. this happened everytime I changed into 4th, 5th and 6th especially at high revs. The i got home, had it in neutral, stuck it in first to go up my driveway and the same thing happened... it feels like something is holding it back, very strange, think the cable is getting jammed somewhere?

Sounds like a carb might be blocked? Or the cable is sticking?

What bike are we talking about?

And you need 11k to go up your drive?

just a thought - On most two stroke, the cable becomes double half way down. One half going to the carb, one to the oil pump. Check that the ferrule isnt becoming unseated at the end on the oil pump cable and causing the oil pump to prevent full opening of the throttle.

well it aint the cable.... took it to garage this morning, they need to disassemble the throttle mechanism, they think something has dislodged, more $$$ i have to spend on the NSR
