When you do your cbt you do basic maintenance like checking tyres lights brakes etc. I think this should have a bigger emphasis as it could save some bikes and riders.
Went for a ride out with a friend then went back to his house his dad took a look at my cg because my friends ybr could not hold its ground and he was a bit disheartened. During the process I took the time to borrow his tools and dirty hands to oil my chain up and tighten it up.
During tightening each side he noticed the swinging arm was extremely loose! I thought the way the bike seemed to skip every so often was because I was pushing it a bit hard not because anything was wrong.
For people who have not ridden bikes before how you suppose to know what feels right and wrong if you don't know how things should be? With a car its easier as can compare it to otherside.
Well in summary of the rant I think their should be more empthasis on maintance during a cbt so riders are able to recognise tell tale signs of problems rather then blaming their riding. Sorry for rant
Now feel even more confident on the corners now it don't skip and I know I can pull it through the corner.
