DAS Questions

Hi folks, was thinking about doing A2 using my Varadero 125 but have read of people having trouble with the mod 1 due to the bike not being very quick acceleration wise on the swerve test. Has any one here done mod 1 on this bike and found it a major problem?

On the DAS front with doing training with a school do they book 1 and 2 together or separately in case you fail mod 1? I ask as I dont fancy paying for a test I cant take in the event I fail mod 1 first time.

Hi, I had a go at the Mod 1 swerve test before it was introduced, and it was a challenge even on a bigger bike, to get up to the speed required. Just be quick to put the power on and you should be fine.

Most schools will give you the option of doing Mod 1 first, or doing both at the same time. But you do forfeit your Mod 2 test fee and lesson time if you fail. It's your choice really.

Not hard at all, just carry some speed through the corner, i was doing 25ish round the corner as soon as i saw it straightening back on the power, passed the speed checks on each test even on a 125 xr125
