I've just recieved a new wheel for my FZ400 from a breakers to replace the one i buckled running up a curb at silly mph trying to pull into an off road layby...

Anyway cos im skint, i want to know the process i need to go through to rattle can the wheel to the colour of the original (white), along with recommendations for paint.. and technique!

Thought about sandblasting it and getting it powdercoated?

That should be enough to get a wheel powdercoated. Even the best rattle tin job won't last long and it will look shit. Podwer coat it or leave it IMO.

Just leave it how it is then Very Happy

Or get some Nitromors on it to peel the paint off and base coat it with metal primer then spray your colour on. if you're feeling flush then laquer it aswell
