Just moved up to Chatteris, Cambridgeshire (deepest, darkest fens)from London.
Does anyone know of any meets & friendly dealers in the area?
Huntingdon, March, Wisbech, Ely, St Ives, anywhere in this sort of area would be great.

Im fro Littleport just up the road from Ely. Nearest dealers will probably be Hallens in Cambridge or Webbs in peterborough. There is a decent bike shop/garage in March just down the road and a fairly good breakers down Black Bank just outside Littleport called Ely Motorcycle Spares.

Not too many meets round here im afraid!

Huntingdon's just down the road, Ely is not far either. I've heard about a meet at Hartford marina, anyone ever go to that one?

Don't use Hallens, I live just down the road from them and when ever I go in there there just not very helpful. Might be because I'm young but they don't seem to give me very good advise. Although just realised you have an R1 and they are a Yamaha and Suzuki garage

Cambridge Motorcycles down Cheddars Lane off of Newmarket road to the side of tescos, fairly tucked away. Always find them really useful and friendly. Here

Or WheelFit on the A10 towards landbeach/waterbeach behind BP? petrol station I believe. Here Are also good and closer to you

Agreed, Hallens are shit. Their after sales service is shit. Their is a garage just outside Stretham i use, bloke who runs the bike bit is Keith, never let me down and wont charge VAT if you pay cash usually.

In Sutton their is Paul Nobbs motorcycles, quite good in their too especially if you are into MX.

That makes me feel better a bit, hearing someone else call them shite and its not just me they treat like a fool.

Bought my moped from there and was told it was restricted, I was hitting 55 on the way home (not that I'm complaining Laughing )

Also taking it in there when it was running badly, I said it probably just needs the carb balanced or its blocked they just said yeah maybe, they took it in and changed the rollers it ran a little better but wasn't sorted so took it to haywards and they said the carb was jetted wrong and was fine after that.
