Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warks CV35 0BJ.
| Quote: | The largest gathering of Veteran and Vintage machines in the world. The Vintage Motor Cycle Club's 'Banbury Run' returns to the Heritage Motor Centre for its third year. With over 600 vintage motorcycles on show, it is a fantastic event, with Club Stands, Auto jumble and special interest displays. |
Anyone thinking of going? £6 spectator fee, includes entry into the museum. There's camping onsite (£18, £13 in advance), but I'm thinking of pitching up down the road at the site behind F2 Motorcycles, which is a no frills, £3 a night with loo and shower jobbie. The last few years I've seen some of the old bikes pottering around the area, but never gone to see them en masse. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. TBH Shaggy unless you're particularly interested in going to the motor museum, or looking through boxes of wheel hubs for BSA B40s, I'd just find a pub they ride past and sit in the front garden. I live in Banbury too and the actual thing at Gaydon is completely wank. ____________________ Don't practice it until you get it right, practice it until you don't get it wrong.
