questions about my nsr, sorry if they have been asked before, im new to forums, and im new here!

Ive got a y reg nsr125, restricted, english version, checked the number on the bike to the wikipedia page to find out restrictions, bout exhaust n metal plates in system?

few questions, does the bike get louder if you destrict this? just need to know i.e my garage is down the side of houses?

and too, is it worth derestricting my bike? i'd like the extra speed off line and overall, as i go on bike rides with people who own 600cc bikes!

Is it easy to de restrict the bike also?

thanks for your time!

Doesn't really get louder.

I'd say it's worth doing - noticably more power.

Relatively easy to do, but does take a while - make sure you've got a good stock of drills for a start.

guessin drills for the exhaust?
I look on wiki, and it said there were 2 metal plates, or is that site wrong, and its just the one plate that is show in the tutorial thats on that nsr site, where it shows you to drill exhaust out, and then take apart manifold/carb and take the ONE metal plate out?

The tutorial on nsr125.com is correct.
And yes, you need drills for drilling the welds in the exhaust.
