honda h100 spark problems

hi....i ride a honda h100 and over the last few weeks shes developed a problem. at about 3/4 to full throttle the engine loses all power and kind of gets a bit boggy.

i thought maybe it was a carb problem...but ive cleaned it out.

so i checked the spark....and its very weak, even with a new clean plug. would this cause the engine problems at full throttle? my thinking was that there was more fuel getting into the engine, than could be burned off. it feels like ive got more power in the bike at half throttle...then at full throttle. as soon as the plug gets a little dirty its a pain in the ass to start...taking maybe 30 or 40 kicks...then eventually it sputters into life. also it seems like i cant start the bike with the choke on...

all was fine a month or two ago. she would start after only a few kicks and run great at top speed. she'd start great using the choke too

ive ordered a new ignition coil...but im just wandering if this will fix the problem. the old coil is showing its age...

What model of H100 do you have? The H100S had points. The A and SII both had CDI.

i think its a honda h100 SD....1985

I think that's the points model...and if so, that's the area I'd check first.
