See this on my regular dog walk. Is it part of a bike, and why would anyone dump it in the hedge?

It is a motorcycle frame and the likely reason is the bike was stolen, all the parts transferred off it onto a legit bike frame and then the stolen frame dumped.

It's the front part of a bike frame, probably from a stolen bike...

thanks for the fix arry.
Don't suppose it's worth anything to the original owner now.
Last year I found a blokes rucksack in the same place, all his cards etc inside, wallet etc. Rang him up and he was still in bed, didn't know his car had been broken into.
Must be a favourite spot with thieves round here (Bourne End Bucks)

I'd at least look over it (don't touch it) to see if there is a frame number still present.
