Ok, so. I've caught you with the odd title. Here's the thing, I'm considering a wee pop around the place.. I did most of Western Europe in Sept/Oct last year.. and now I'm left with 6months to blow. I'm thinking four months working, two travelling.
My route would go through:
England, France, Italy, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Norway..
Can anyone see any real issue with those countries or crossings? and if so, suggest a diversion..
No real aim to see anything, I prefer to see what I come across myself, getting lost..
Many thanks for any, and all advice! ____________________ Bikes; '06 Triumph Sprint ST 1050 (for sale) - '95 BMW R1100GS |

this site you will find useful for boarder crossing information, and just general motorbike touring! ____________________ Past: Honda x8rs, Honda City fly, Honda Hornet 250, Honda VFR750, Yamaha xt600e.

Maybe this link will have been a bit more precise:

Both Libya and Saudi Arabia will be a right bastred getting a forgein bike into. and Egypt requires a 800% value of the bike deposite for the carnet and from what l,ve heard another deposite of 1-2k euros at the border (though this may of been a work around to having a valid carnet). ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV |
