Parking ticket bull***t!

Hackney council suspended the parking outside my flat while I was working away.
When I got back I had received a letter about a unpaid fine.
So I went in to the office in person with a letter from my employer stating the dates I was working away from home (I was away for about two months).
I then receive a letter from them stating that it was to late to make representations but out of courtesy I can still pay the lower amount fine ! WTF.
I feel like Im basically being bullied into paying this, I did nothing wrong and they wont exept that.

Bastards, Citizens advice maybe, soliciter?, very unfair, personally if it were me i would not pay i would let the courts decide after all how were you to know while working away.

The council always reject your appeal. The only course of action is to get in front of the adjudicator, not surprisingly the council withdraw a lot of tickets just before the hearing with him.

Edit: post up the pics of the ticket (scrubbed of personal info) or stick them up on pepipoo. There is bound to be an infringement on the ticket (back is also important)

Appeal to the adjudicator, i was issued a ticket in a council car park in Weymouth..

The reason as the other other cars had parked lopsided to get my car in i had to follow on

So when i come back the other cars are gone and i am outside of the bay.. Hence the ticket

How far do they actually go with parking fines, I got 1 about 2 years ago on my Old GS I threw it straight in the bin, Not heard anything since.
